Blinding Sunrise: Blinded By Nelson

Blinding Sunrise (7% ABV) is the continuation of the single-hop, West Coast IPA series from Slice Beer Company (Lincoln, CA).

I was especially excited this time around since this iteration was brewed with my absolute favorite hop, Nelson Sauvin.

Oh, and it did not disappoint!

Blinding Sunrise Tasting Notes

The beer boasts a beautiful light yellow hue, topped with a small and bubbly head.

When you take a whiff, you’re immediately hit by the Nelson dankness, which brings bright white grape and grapefruit notes to the nose.

On the palate, it’s surprise, more Nelson, with plenty of its classic tropical, grapefruit citrus, white wine and diesel dank flavors, and a hint of bitterness on the finish.

To sum it all up, this beer is as beautiful as the sunrise and will blind your tastebuds with danky Nelson. So do yourself a favor, and get a can (or 4).
