Holy Six

By: Mr. Beer Thirty

Six years in, and Slice Beer Company decided to find out what happens when you push the limits of West Coast IPA into divine territory. Holy Six is pure lupulin lunacy, a Triple Dry-Hopped West Coast IPA featuring the choicest Citra, Riwaka, Riwaka Cryo, Nectaron Cryo, Nelson Cryo, Nelson Hop Kief, and Maui Nelson Hop Kief.

Appearance

Holy Six pours a light yellow hue topped with a white, micro-bubble head.

Aroma

A danky, resinous fruit train leads the way, with aromas of orange, grapefruit, white grapes, and pineapple all crashing together in the glass.

Tasting Notes

Full bodied and super clean, waves of fresh-squeezed orange, passionfruit, and white grape crash into bursts of peach, lychee, and pineapple funk, with hints of diesel and dank resin keeping it grounded in classic West Coast roots.

Mouthfeel & Drinkability

The finish stays crisp, clean, and just dry enough to make you immediately reach for another sip — glowing, aromatic, and borderline transcendent.

Food Pairings

The orange, passionfruit, white grape, and pineapple character make this a great match for bold, tropical dishes. Try it with:

  • Grilled shrimp with orange glaze – A direct echo of the beer’s citrus notes.
  • Passionfruit glazed pork – Complements the beer’s tropical character.
  • Charcuterie with white grapes – Ties in the beer’s grape notes.
  • Grilled pineapple skewers – Echoes the beer’s pineapple funk.

Final Notes

Holy Six is a Triple Dry-Hopped, hop gospel of a West Coast IPA from Slice Beer Company that earns its 4.25/5 by pushing the style into borderline transcendent territory for their 6th anniversary. Hallelujah, indeed.
