Sticky-Fu!: Karate Hopped

When you talk about two of California’s best breweries (Slice Beer Company and North Park Beer Company) teaming up to brew up one of your favorite styles, the hype is sure to ensue and the beer is destined to be delicious.

Especially after the incredibly successful hazy (Blurry Buds) and West Coast (Slice-Fu!) beers they brewed up the last time they got together.

The result this time around, a triple-dry hopped (Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and HBC 586 Cryo) West Coast IPA that’ll bring your tastebuds to its knees.

Ladies and gents, I present to you Sticky-Fu! (7% ABV).

Sticky-Fu! Tasting Notes

Pour this bad boy into a glass and you’ll be greeted by a beautiful baby yellow gold color, with a head that disappears pretty quickly (like any doubts you may have had about this beer being great).

The nose is dominated by a fruity combination of blueberries and mango, a small preview of what’s to come.

More fruit notes on the palate, but the real star of the show here is the danky, resinous, earthy terpenes and the super clean, dry, bitter finish.

All in all, Sticky-Fu! is a lovely libation, worthy of any and all praise. And, further evidence that these two breweries are blackbelts in brewing game.
